I want to thank Dr. Klonski for taking such good care of me. the office staff were wonderful and it didn't take me long to realize he really cares about his patients. He went over the complete procedure, and took the time to explain everything to my wife and I, he even illustrated the process on paper for me. He really made us feel very comfortable. My surgery was 2 weeks later. The staff at Long island Jewish Valley Stream couldn't be nicer and his surgical team was Awesome. I was on my way home the same day. No pain! When I got home I took 2 Tylenol just in case. I had a concern the 2nd night and called his cell phone figuring I'd leave a message. HE PICKED UP! (how often do you hear that?) on valentines day eve no less! I explained what was happening and he quickly put me at ease, everything was normal. Still no pain but took an OTC Motrin and went to sleep. Took one OTC Motrin the next night just in case. On day 4 I had a question and called his office and left a message, less than 15 minutes later he called me back. Amazing! All is well. Still no pain! in all I took 2 Tylenol and 2 Motrin,9 (never did pick up the script), No need for pain killers. Had a Great Post-Op 7 days after my surgery. I WILL be going back to him as a second one has been forming on my other side. Dr Klonski will also be doing a hernia repair on my wife. We were so happy with our whole experience. We will Highly Recommend Dr. Klonski to anyone who asks me who did my surgery. THANK YOU so much Dr. Klonski, for your Professionalism, Skill and most of all, COMASSION for your patients. I Highly recommend you see him, If I could give him more stars I would!

Dr. Klonsky is a very professional surgeon who is knowledgeable about his job. Before I visited him, I consulted with another surgeon and I didn't get the assurance I was expecting. But when I met Dr. Klonsky he was very patience, calm and caring. He told me every thing from A-Z about about my hernia and what to expect before and after surgery moreover his staff was exceptional and I felt relieved and did the surgery within two weeks after the first visit. I was able to walked out the hospital the same day. It was a very successful surgery and on the next day was a little pain and it gradually went away. Please don't wait if you have hernia visit Dr. Klonsky today. He will take great care of you. Thank God and thank Dr. Klonsky no more pain and misery.

Amazing caring Dr. excellent care for my husband during his hernia operation he was 80 yr old. He actually walked out. He was the best Dr. ever.

  • I was in Northwell Valley Stream in 2017. My surgeon was Dr. Ira Klonsky. I felt assured in his ability to take care of me. He was caring and always explained all procedures to me in a manner that I could understand. I was told what to explained all procedures to me in a manner that I could understand. I was told what to expect during and after surgery. For I had many complications. He treated me with professionalism. He treated me with professionalism. His treatment of me made me feel confident with his treatment and recommendations. I consider him to be a outstanding surgeon. I would highly recommend him Dr. Klonsky to anyone.

  • My brother suffered a ruptured colon due to undiagnosed colon cancer in May of 2016. We were lucky enough to have Dr Klonsky perform an emergency colostomy. His expertise saved my brothers life that night, and fortunately he is still with us today. While we still battle the cancer we are grateful that Dr Klonsky gave us a chance to do so. Thank You!
